Embedded content from other websites

Who we share your data with

The Mid-America Working Terrier Association (MAWTA) values your privacy. While we do not require users to create accounts or log in to access our website, we do use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors interact with our site and improve your experience.

This means we collect basic, anonymous data—like what pages are visited, how long people stay, and what devices are used. We do not collect or share personal information like names, email addresses, or payment details through our website.

We use this data solely to enhance the site and better serve our community. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

If you have any questions about how your data is used, feel free to reach out to us at info@midamericaworkingterrier.com.

How long we retain your data

Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months, which helps us monitor trends over time and make improvements. After that period, the data is automatically deleted from our analytics system.

We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

If you contact us by email or register for an event, we may retain that information only as long as necessary to respond or manage the event—and we never use it for marketing without your permission.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

The Mid-America Working Terrier Association (MAWTA) uses trusted third-party tools to help manage and improve our website. Here’s where your data may be sent:

  • Google Analytics: Anonymous usage data (such as which pages you visit or how long you stay) is sent to Google Analytics to help us understand how people use our site. This data is stored on Google’s secure servers and does not include personally identifiable information.
  • Email Communications: If you email us or fill out a contact or registration form, your information (such as your name and email address) is sent to our email provider so we can respond to you or process your registration. We use secure email systems and do not share this information with outside parties.
  • Spam Detection Tools: If we use forms on our website (such as for contact or registration), they may be checked through automated spam detection services to protect our site from spam or malicious use.

We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.
